Spend the first Friday of every month in Olde Towne Woodstock and enjoy the many restaurants and stores that the area has to offer as the Downtown Merchants stay open late, 5pm-9pm This is the third year for the Friday Night Live series.
For each Friday Night Live theme participating Downtown Merchants will have activities going on at their stores and throughout the Downtown area related to the theme of the month. Friday Night Live also features great music as bands play throughout Downtown Woodstock in front of the stores which adds to the street festival feel of the event.
July 2nd Cruisin’ on Main – Watch old cars cruise Main Street. Will also feature some bicycle fun for the kids.
We are encouraging the public that if you have a classic old car to drive it to the event. We would like to get as many classic cars to come to the event as possible.
Out Spokin’ Bicycles, in conjunction with the Greenprints Alliance and Downtown Woodstock Merchants, are proud to present the First Annual Woodstock Bike Parade and Family Fun Ride on Friday, July 2nd during Cruisin on Main. The ride will start at the Old Wal-Mart (corner of Main Street and Hwy 92) and travel up Main Street into Historic Downtown Woodstock, make a loop and then return. Meet in the parking lot of the Old Wal-Mart between 6:30 and 7pm. We will roll out of the parking lot PROMPTLY at 7:15pm. The total ride is only 2 miles and the route is very flat, so it’s great for all members of the family!Safety is very important, so helmets are required for all riders. We will be escorted by the Woodstock Police Department through all intersections. There is no charge to participate in the Bike Parade, but you must register on-site by signing the event waiver at the Out Spokin’ Bicycles registration tent. DECORATE YOUR BIKE!!! We’re looking for the bike that’s decorated the best! You can choose to stick to a 4th of July theme, or you can be as creative and original as you like! The Top 3 Bikes will win prizes! If you want to have your bike entered in the competition, let us know at registration!
Music for the event will feature Six Strings South playing in front of Seven Arrows, Steve Peri will be playing in front of Val’s Happy Shack, and Steve Luck will be playing in front of Roomscapes.
The Right Wing Tavern Beer Garden will be hosted 5pm to 9pm by Bre Burnham and True I.T. Inc with complimentary Miller Lite while it last. Cranked up 50′s and 60′s rock-a-billy music all night long. In the bar, it is Nostalgia Beer Night with all the beers that may have seen the back of a ’57 Chevy (Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller High Life and Rolling Rock) for only $2. From 9pm to closee Wes Faulkner and Mark Cook will play the blues. Come by and sign up to win a New Belgium Fat Tire Cruiser Bike to be raffled for charity.
Seven Arrows will offer refreshments and a 10% discount on total purchase that evening.
Hot Dog Heaven will be having Steak Night, 16 oz Sirloin for $12.99
Bella Boutique will be having a giveaway. They will be holding a drawing for a free handbag. Also they will have refreshments in the store for the event.
Pennybag Emporium will have a tabletop mini car race for kids to play. Free prizes for everyone who plays. Pennybag will also be giving away a free prize that night, no purchase necessary to win. Will also have a “Twinkie Triffle” come by to try this fun dessert.
Val’s Happy Shack will be having their first annual Blow Out Sale, up to 50% off over half the store!!! Will also have refreshments available.
Salon Bastille will have 10% off all retail items… This includes all hair products!!! Roomscapes Gallery & Heartworks Studio will be displaying work from the childrens art camp and their instructor, Aubree Metlick. Music by Blaine Steve Lusk and refreshments to cool you down.
Dean’s Store will be hosting Game Night, where you can play your favorite board or card games in the historic setting of Dean’s Store.
Earlier on Friday, 9am to 5pm, Woodstock Market at the corner of Main St & Hwy 92, will be hosting their outdoor market. Over 70 vendors will junk metal art, woodwork, pottery, artwork, photography, furniture, vintage collectibles, purses, jewelry, produce, plants, yard art, antiques, vintage clothing, a petting zoo and pony rides, and much more.
Other participating merchants include Foxtale Books, Vingenzo’s, Samson & Delilah, LKT Sports Art, Granger Motorsports, Punctuation Boutique, Canyons Burgers, , Ann Litrel Art, Honeybutter, Pure, Magnolia Thomas Restaurant, and Beetle’s BBQ.
