FreedomFest takes over Woodstock

July 3rd will see Woodstock, Georgia transform into FreedomFest 2010

presented by LGE Community Credit Union

Events and festivities are planned all day long to happen all over Woodstock. The Freedom Fun Run begins at 7:30am followed by a parade through Downtown Woodstock. Vendors and entertainment will be in the City Park until 3:00 pm and fireworks will begin at dusk behind the Target Shopping Center on Hwy 92.

The huge parade starts at Hwy 92 (old WalMart/Furniture Express) and goes north on Main Street through historic Downtown Woodstock to Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd. After the parade, visit the Downtown City Park until 3pm for food, Adam the juggler, Tim the magician, musical entertainment, children’s games, watermelon seed spitting contest, cake walk, arts & crafts, and vendors of all types. Fun for young and old!
