Fall has descended on Woodstock, Georgia, the crisp cool air is winning the war over the heat and pumpkin patches are beginning to pop up around us beckoning you to start your fall traditions. It is time to add a new tradition to your list! Come and get your ghoul on in Woodstock City Park October 14th-October 16th for “Ghost Tales and Trails; a Storyteller’s Tour of Historic Woodstock.” Two time Emmy nominee and storyteller Paul Boehlert heads a fabulous line-up of seasoned storytellers for this historic walking tour and “ghost” storytelling event. Guests will be treated to a journey that is rooted in history; a little spooky but kid friendly. Tours will depart every ten minutes until 9pm on Thursday, October 14th and 9:30pm on Friday, October 15th and Saturday October 16th.
As night descends and while you wait for your tour to depart come enjoy some tasty fall treats or visit our fall market. There will be a variety of things for both children and adults; perhaps a ghost in the box to take home or a cornstalk to grace your front porch. We will keep you entertained as the ghosts begin their nightly journey of haunts!
Tickets will go on sale each night at Woodstock City Park starting at 6:30pm on a first come first serve basis. Adults $11, Children 12 and under $6; cash or check will be accepted at the park. This is a rain or shine event, all proceeds will benefit Greenprints Alliance and Elm Street Cultural Arts Village.
