1st Annual Woodstock Bike Parade

Out Spokin’ Bicycles, in conjunction with the Greenprints Alliance and Downtown Woodstock Merchants, are proud to present the First Annual Woodstock Bike Parade and Family Fun Ride on Friday, July 2nd at 6:30pm!

The ride will start at the Old Wal-Mart (corner of Main Street and Hwy 92) and travel up Main Street into Historic Downtown Woodstock, make a loop and then return. Meet in the parking lot of the Old Wal-Mart between 6:30 and 7pm.  We will roll out of the parking lot PROMPTLY at 7:15pm.  The total ride is only 2 miles and the route is very flat, so it’s great for all members of the family!  Here is a map of the route:

1st Annual Woodstock Bike Parade: July 2nd 6:30pm

Safety is very important, so helmets are required for all riders.  We will be escorted by the Woodstock Police Department through all intersections.  There is no charge to participate in the Bike Parade, but you must register on-site by signing the event waiver at the Out Spokin’ Bicycles registration tent.

DECORATE YOUR BIKE

We’re looking for the bike that’s decorated the best!  You can choose to stick to a 4th of July theme, or you can be as creative and original as you like. The Top 3 Bikes will win prizes.  If you want to have your bike entered in the competition, let us know at registration.

HELP PUT BIKE PATHS/TRAILS IN WOODSTOCK

The Greenprints Alliance will be on hand with information on how you can help us add more bike lanes and pedestrian/multi-use paths in and around Woodstock.

WIN A BIKE!

The Right Wing Tavern and New Belgium Brewing are working together to give away a New Belgium Fat Tire Cruiser!  Raffle tickets will be at parade registration and also at the Right Wing Tavern through the end of August.
